    To be consistent and true to the Festival objectives and spirit, only authentic Croatian folklore songs and dances are permitted at the festival performance.  Groups that do not adhere to this rule are subject to a $500 fine by the Canadian-Croatian Folklore Federation (East).

    We ask that your group stays within the time limit of 12 minutes for your performance, which includes both the entrance and exit to the stage.  Groups that do not adhere to this requirement will be fined.

​

    We ask that each group designate a member of their organization to watch over their personal belongings during the performance. The Croatian National Home, Canadian-Croatian Folklore Federation (East) and FirstOntario Concert Hall are not responsible for lost or damaged items.

​

    Each group will be provided a liaison for the duration of the concert festival. This individual will be available to answer any questions the group may have and keep the group well informed of all aspects of the Festival weekend. This individual will guide the group to their change room and lead the group to the stage.

​

    FirstOntario Concert Hall only permits smoking or drinking of alcoholic beverages in designated areas. Violators of this rule do so at their own risk.

​

    All performers should be at FirstOntario Concert Hall prior to the concert beginning, no later than 12:00pm.

​

    All performers are to be at Mass on Sunday in their costume.

​

    We ask that you choose a representative for your group who will receive your group’s participation memento which will be presented during the banquet on Saturday evening.

​

    All ticket, souvenir book and memory stick orders will be deemed final only when payment is received by Croatian National Home.

​

    The Croatian National Home and/or the Canadian-Croatian Folklore Federation (East) will not be liable, under ANY circumstances for any direct, indirect, or incidental or special loss or other damage arising from any manner out of the use of any hotel or performance facilities.

    Video recording and taking photos during the performances are strictly prohibited.

​

    LATECOMERS TO THE SATURDAY BANQUET AND SUNDAY DANCE WILL NOT BE PERMITTED ENTRY TO THE VENUE. NO RE-ADMITTANCE FOR SATURDAY BANQUET AND SUNDAY DANCE.
